i LOVE orange and have been adoring all the fun color palettes that include my favorite exuberant hue. i was talking to someone recently about how you could pull off an orange and blue wedding if you use the right shades. in today’s inspiration board i paired tangerine with teal, but i also think blueish gray or slate would be an amazing complimentary color as well.

i love the idea of the goof booth, even with no props. it still provides a chance to get photos of the friends and family who attend your wedding and have a bit more character to them.
back in april, we worked with blue bridal couture to design invitations for a brides head revisited trunk show at their shop in the denver pavilions. we worked with a blue that matches their branding and screen printed the design on chipboard.
for all you brides looking for that perfect dress, we LOVE the ladies over at blue. blue bridal is a chic, contemporary boutique, located in the heart of downtown denver. locally owned and operated by two young women, they offer exquisite designer gowns, at surprisingly delightful prices. most of their designers are exclusive to their boutique in colorado, which means you won’t see the same gowns anywhere else.
here are some beautiful photos of their brand new shop downtown:

We had a wonderful time at our first bridal show back on Jan 31st at the beautiful Grant Humphreys Mansion here in Denver. We got a chance to connect with a handful of wedding vendors [Blue Bridal Couture, Denver Makeup Guru, SIP Fine Wine & Spirits] and spoke with so many brides and couples about their wedding invitations.
We were lucky enough to receive a handful of pictures of our booth from Marilee Photography. She stopped by our booth a few times to capture some detail shots. Now we can show you Lauren’s old typewriter, our handmade chicken-wire frame and fun screen printed wooden business “cards.” Thank you so much Marilee for sharing your pictures with us!

Welcome to {ampersand}’s blog! We are so excited to launch our new site to showcase both our Premiere Collection and our Custom Design services. We have been working hard behind the scenes with some talented folks to get everything running smoothly and looking sharp. Check out our Galleries to browse our latest designs.
We’d also like to say hello to the couples we met at the Quality Hill Bridal Show today at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion. It was lovely chatting and hearing about all the wonderful weddings in the works. We’re already dreaming up new possibilities for gorgeous stationery and we can’t wait to sit down and hear about your vision one on one!
