jennie & mark wedding suite • yankee girl moves to uganda, africa to help the needy and overlooked. british boy moves to democratic republic of the congo, africa to help the needy and overlooked. yank meets brit.  long distance relationship brings forth love. brit asks yank to marry him. yank says yes. that is how this beautiful and adventurous weddings suite came to be!

to tie in the culture in which the couple met, the suite’s design was inspired by the bold patterns found on african fabrics. we also added a subtle floral pattern in the background made of stylized hydrangeas since jennie knew from the start she wanted them in her bouquet. the rsvp was designed as an old postcard as a way of representing the long distance nature of their initial dating relationship. all in the bold contrast of reds and teals.
